Expanding the reach of Lions Clubs International through the chartering of new clubs is essential to the vitality of our districts. Extension chairpersons contribute to the success of their districts by leading extension efforts in their districts and multiple districts. The dedication, knowledge and leadership skills of the extension chairpersons are essential to ensure the continued growth of Lions Clubs International.

The multiple district extension chairperson and district extension chairperson oversee the extension efforts of new clubs within their areas. Each are appointed for a three-year term. These two positions are ideal for dedicated Lions who posses a strong positive attitude, leadership skills, knowledge of Lions Clubs International and a sense of entreprenurial adventure to effectively build new clubs.
