Planning Projects

Lions Give

Lions clubs make communities better places to live. And we matter locally, because people know that they can count on us to pitch in. Whether your club wants to focus on improving eyesight – or providing help halfway around the world – our adopted service programs allow you to work on a diverse array of projects.

  • Lions give everyone the opportunity to live a healthy life. Since Helen Keller challenged Lions to be “knights of the blind” in 1925, clubs like yours have worked on sight projects. Your club can also perform service projects that focus on hearing and diabetes.
  • Lions give youth the chance to learn, grow and serve. Today’s children are our future. That’s why many Lions clubs choose to work on youth projects such as sponsoring a Leo club, a local Peace Poster Contest or an International Youth Camp and Exchange Program.
