Lions Club Story of the Week
This week’s biggest story – a tale that involves 6,840 pounds of pancake mix, 3,600 pounds of sausage links, and 14,000 attendees – comes to us from the Lubbock Lions Club in Lubbock, Texas.

Last weekend at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, hundreds of Lions Club members and volunteers cooked up tens of thousands of pancakes during the 58th annual Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival.

During last year’s Festival, the Lubbock Lions raised nearly $100,000 – and set a new Guinness World Record for serving more than 66,000 pancakes.
