Lions Clubs Photo of the Week: Gig Harbor Lions Recycle for Sight

Our members collect millions of eyeglasses each year, making eyeglass recycling one of our most popular activities. During Recycle for Sight month in May, and throughout the year, Lions deliver the eyeglasses they collect to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers. We received this week’s photo from the Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Olympia, Washington.

Gig Harbor Lions Eyeglass Recycling

The Gig Harbor Lions Club recently held a work party to clean, sort and package eyeglasses collected through the Lions Recycle for Sight program. Most of the recycled glasses will be distributed to needy people in developing countries.
