Lions Change the Lives of Women, Children in Morocco

Lions projects  are improving communities around the world – and the lives of community members. We recently heard about Lions clubs in Morocco that are helping women – who never had a chance to go to school – learn to read and write.

After talking to the district governor in Morocco, we found out that Lions there believe education will empower women and help their children. So, we went to Morocco to see some of the projects Lions are doing.

During our time in Morocco, we visited Lions clubs in Rabat and Marrakesh that are providing education and job-related training for women. We also saw preschools that Lions are supporting, which allow mothers to participate in the educational programs – and allow their children get a good start in school.

See how Lions are changing the lives of women and children at the Sidi Makhlouf Center in Rabat, Morocco.
