We received this week’s photo from Brindisi Chan of the Washington Special Olympics Lions Club. She snapped this shot of LCIF Chairperson Al Brandel and his wife Dr. Maureen Murphy on the Lions Clubs float at the National Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 31, 2010.

    If anyone has the chance of attending the Lions Memorial Day Parade next year, I highly recommend it. Marching with 170 Lions, and vets including WWII vets is an honor. DC is a great city. Take advantage of this opportunity.

    Unfortunately, the Military Channel that was televising parade chose not to show any part of the Lions contingent.
