Photo of the Week: Lions in India “Opening Eyes” for Special Olympics Athletes

Lions club members take part in Opening Eyes vision screenings at Special Olympics sporting events worldwide. During these events, our members volunteer to help with color vision testing, visual acuity tests and distribution of glasses and protective sports goggles for athletes.

In this photo, a Lions club volunteer screens the sight of a Special Olympics athlete during a recent Opening Eyes event in Hajipur, Bihar. The Lions of District 322 E came out in full force to support the event, and provided vision screenings for more than 500 Special Olympics Bharat athletes.
