To help ensure that education continues after an emergency or natural disaster – such as Hurricane Katrina – our members support the UNICEF School-in-a-Box Program.  We received this week’s photo from Kate Weber, Director, NGOs, U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

Last week, we presented a donation of US$39,468.62 to continue Lions’ support of the School-in-a-Box program. Since 1996, Lions and LCIF have provided more than US$200,000 in funding for the program.
