During last month’s convention in Sydney, we announced the Pediatric Cataract Initiative – a partnership program of Lions Clubs International Foundation and the Bausch + Lomb Early Vision Institute. We received this week’s photo from Kristy Guerra at Bausch + Lomb.

On August 12, 2010, the Pediatric Cataract Initiative was featured on the CBS Early Show, a national morning news program in the U.S. Dozens of local Lions and Bausch + Lomb representatives – including Past International President Al Brandel – stood outside in the rain for three hours to help promote this program that saves children’s sight.
