Story of the Week: Brookville Lions Host First Breast Cancer Walk

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With one in eight women developing breast cancer within her lifetime, we see a number of Lions clubs conducting programs to increase awareness and promote early detection that can be the key to survival.

This was the club’s first such walk but they worked hard to promote it and it was successful. They hope to make it an annual event.
