Photo of the Week: Shiogama Lions Club Providing Disaster Relief in Ishinomaki City

Following last month’s devastating earthquake and tsunami, Lions across Japan are providing disaster relief to victims. We received this week’s photo from the Shiogama Lions Club in Miyagi (332-C).

In this photo, members of the Shiogama Lions Club deliver disaster relief supplies, which included 10 tons of rice, to Past District Governor (PDG) Masao Sugiyama and Zone Chairperson Hiroshi Abe in Ishinomaki City. PDG Sugiyama is storing donations in his company offices, and using radio and TV to spread the word about items that are available.

    In the text above is mentioned a Mr Hiroshi Abe who I am trying to find. Would that be the same Hiroshi Abe, working in the 80′s at Mitsubishi Oil Corporation in Sendai? Married, has at least one child, had a pen pal in Sweden called Inge-Mo Haraldh.
