Story of the Week: Lions, LCIF Providing Disaster Relief for Tornado Victims in U.S.
On Wednesday, a deadly tornado outbreak in the U.S. killed at least 280 people, left thousands homeless and caused millions of dollars in damage. As always, our members and Foundation are bringing aid to the people affected by this disaster.
Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded 15 emergency grants to districts in Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi and Missouri. Local Lions will use these grants to provide immediate relief supplies, including food, water, clothing and medication.
LCIF has also established a designated fund for donations, the U.S. Southern States Tornado Disaster Fund. LCIF can accept donations by check, wire or credit card. Please visit our Donations page for more information.
