President’s Service Blog: Meeting Lions at USA/Canada Forum, Alaska

My favorite part of being your international president is meeting so many Lions and Leos around the world. So far, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with more than 2,000 club presidents during my travels. In our Presidents Meet the President meetings, I’ve answered questions and learned about your projects.
At the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum in Anchorage, I learned about Camp Abilities, a developmental sports camp for those with visual impairments. Julia, a young blind girl who has attended Camp Abilities for several years, shared her favorite camp activities with forum attendees.
I also announced that we surpassed my goal of planting one million trees this year. With each tree, we plant hope for the future. I believe our tree planting total will reflect our commitment to improve our communities and the lives of our children.
Lions, keep up the great work!
In these video clips, you’ll see some of the highlights from my time in Alaska.
