Lions, LCIF Providing Disaster Relief for Earthquake Victims in Turkey

On Sunday, a powerful 7.2-magnitude earthquake devastated parts of eastern Turkey, killing at least 279 and injuring more than 1,300. As always, Lions and LCIF are bringing aid to the people affected by this disaster.

LCIF is in close communication with Lions in District 118-U, Turkey, and has approved an emergency grant of US$10,000 for immediate relief efforts. Local Lions will use these funds to provide relief supplies, including food, water, clothing, and medication.
