President’s Service Blog: Chartering a Campus Lions Club, Georgia, USA
Growing our organization and laying strong roots for the future are responsibilities each Lion should embrace. I believe engaging young people can bring energy into our clubs and provide new insights into additional service activities.

When I traveled to Georgia, I was honored to participate in a charter ceremony for a Campus Lions Club at the University of Georgia. The new Lions there were so enthusiastic about giving back and living out the “We Serve” motto. I was pleased to learn that the club’s president, Erik Krumins, is the grandson of Former International President Joseph Wroblewski. It’s fantastic seeing generations of families serving together through Lions.
To ensure the future, we must give young people the opportunity to lead. It is my belief that these young Lions have all the tools they need to have a successful, thriving Lions club and will be a vital asset to their university and the community for generations to come.
