Photo of the Week: Australian Lions Fill Hearts and Stomachs this Holiday Season

In December and January, Lions clubs throughout the world are coordinating food drives and projects to feed the hungry. This is part of our Relieving the Hunger Global Service Action Campaign. This week’s photo of the Altona Lions Club came from Maribyrnong Weekly.

The Lions club partnered with Directions for Young People to brighten the holidays for homeless young people. Thanks to this partnership, more than one year in the making, 25 baskets of food and 100 toiletry bags will reach homeless people age 15 to 25.
