Story of the Week: Share and Organize Your Favorite Pictures on Pinterest

Social networking is a great way to connect with Lions and Leos like you. In addition to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube, a new social network allows you to share and organize photos. Pinterest, the hottest social media Web site of 2012, is a virtual bulletin board that allows you to easily post your photos, collect images from around the Internet and categorize the pictures onto boards.

Getting started on Pinterest is easy. Follow us on Pinterest and let us know about your projects by tagging us in the description of your posts with @lionsclubsorg. We may even share your photos by repining them to our pinboards.

  • Like this post, as it turns out to be more effective to use new social media tools to let more people know about lions organization and in recruiting of new members.

By the way, our club is preparing for trainings in the near future for our members to catch up with the ever-growing digital divide. Members from neighboring clubs are welcome to contact us for training contents, join the program, and also give us suggestions on what you would like to learn to improve your knowledge of computer and Internet.
