Earth Day 2012: Lions Improve the Environment Every Day

April 22 is Earth Day, and many of our Lions clubs are spending this month performing projects to improve their communities and the world through our Environmental Global Service Action Campaign. Together, we can change the landscape of the future.

Turkey Tree Planting

Lions and Leos around the world have planted more than 8 million trees in the past year, including in Thailand, Nepal, Kenya, India and the United States. Lions also perform roadside clean ups, conduct recycling programs, improve water sanitation and beautify parks.
