LQ: Learn about a School in Argentina for Disabled Students

Too many children are without the proper health and education services they need to live out their dreams and goals. Lions are committed to providing services for children that significantly improve the quality of life for the world’s future generations. Through food and clothes drives, literacy programs, vision and hearing screenings and more, we serve children across the globe.

In the latest issue of Lions Quarterly (LQ), we explore a school in Argentina that was developed especially for students with hearing and vision impairments and other disabilities. The school, located 80 kilometers outside of Mendoza, Argentina, is the first in the community that helps both deaf and blind students. Lions and LCIF assisted in providing money for the technology, materials and trained teachers required to give the students the specialized attention they need to succeed.

The LQ video above takes you to Argentina to see how this school is changing children’s lives.
