Lions Teach Photography to Visually Impaired Students
Posted by Lions Clubs International on Monday, November 5, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Students at the Washington State School for the Blind attended a free photography class funded by the Vancouver Lions Club. A member of the Vancouver Lions Club taught the class, and the students’ photos were used in a 2013 calendar. In addition to helping blind and visually-impaired students better understand the concept of photography, Lions are using proceeds from the calendar sales to help fund other Lions community- and sight-related projects.
Lions everywhere are committed to health and service projects that assist the visually impaired and help prevent blindness worldwide. Do you have a project to share? Submit your photos and stories today.
