Today is World Diabetes Day

Established by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1991, World Diabetes Day is celebrated across the globe every year. It marks a day when millions of people worldwide engage in diabetes advocacy and awareness, including Lions everywhere. During the entire month of November, Lions have been organizing and participating in Strides events, diabetes screenings tests and other Diabetes Awareness Month activities in order to educate their communities and promote a healthy lifestyle.

  1. Lebanon Host Lions had a “Day in the Life of Diabetes” all day Event today! We partnered with MERCY our local hospital. What a SPECTACULAR Event! We are looking having this be our first ANNUAL Diabetes Event…we had no idea it would be so successful and so well received in our community. We loved the online resources from LCI. If you have never held an event like this please consider it~ The Lebanon Host Lions are thrilled!
