Superstorm Sandy Disaster Relief Video

Since Superstorm Sandy hit the East Coast of the United States in late October, Lions have been reaching out to those affected by the devastation. Through volunteer efforts and LCIF grants, Lions across the country are helping provide food, clothing, cleanup supplies, power and more needed by Sandy victims.

Watch the video above to see how Lions are responding in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

There must have been Lions whose homes were devastated in the storm. Lion Kae Lea Hartman from the Sedro-Woolley Lions in Sedro-Woolley, WA has challenged clubs in MD19 to locate a Lion who has been affected and pay the Lion’s yearly dues for LCI and their MD for one year so that they can continue to serve in their community. We need to know which Lion, which club and we will be happy to send in the dues for one year to your club or to LCI. Please contact us at sedrowoolleylions@hotmail.com with your contact person (secretary, president zone chairman or District Governor). We will get the names out to our other clubs. We would like to help other Lions. Thank you. Lion Secretary, Carol Torset
