Lions and Students Feed the Hungry

The Grayslake Lions Club in Illinois teamed up with Grayslake Central High School students last month to provide food baskets filled with turkey, potatoes, milk, apples and assorted non-perishables to more than 170 families in the area. The students contributed by collecting more than 53,000 pounds of food, and helping Lions sort, pack, load and deliver the food.
The food baskets helped local families in need enjoy a more bountiful holiday dinner.
