Video: Lions Quest in Nepal

There is no greater investment than youth, and Lions Quest pays dividends for a lifetime. Teachers, students and family members in Katmandu, Nepal, are finding out just how beneficial Lions Quest programs can be.

Lions Quest is a K-12 positive youth development program that teaches critical life skills that help young people live healthy, responsible lives free from violence, bullying and substance abuse.

Lions Quest is currently in 78 countries—and counting—and 2012 marked another year of expansion for the program. Lions Quest partnered with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to help youth in Serbia and Montenegro live healthier, more responsible lives. The program partnered with NoVo Foundation to host the program’s largest-ever teacher training in Wood County, W.Va. Lions Quest also received a $150,000 grant from the U.S. State Department to expand Lions Quest in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi and Botswana.
