Lions in Virginia Fight Diabetes

Lions of District 24-A (Northern Virginia) are fighting to increase diabetes awareness and help people lead happier, healthier lives. After receiving a grant from LCIF to provide free health screenings and diabetes education to under served, at-risk communities in Northern Virginia, Lions have collaborated with clinics and other local organizations to give people the resources they need to improve their health.
In order to promote these services and reach out to the public, these Lions created a blog, which will offer regular updates about diabetes screenings and other events. Check it out at http://lc4dp.org/!
