Lions in Jakarta Provide Disaster Relief

Last week, severe floods in Jakarta, Indonesia left at least 20 people dead and as many as 50,000 homeless. Lions in Jakarta were among the first to respond, using rubber boats to evacuate victims and relocate them to higher ground. The Lions also distributed food to those in need.

Lions everywhere are committed to providing disaster relief when natural disaster strikes, helping victims rebuild their lives after hurricanes, floods or tornadoes leave them helpless and homeless. Whether through donations or hands-on assistance, Lions are always there to serve.
