As International President Wayne Madden continues to challenge Lions to increase literacy worldwide, Lions continue to provide access to books and learning resources through the Reading Action Program. Check out the Success Stories page on the LCI website to read how Lions across the globe are planning projects that put books in children’s hands and get them excited about reading and learning.
Recent Reading Action Program success stories include Lions in Sri Lanka reading to children at a local preschool and Lions in Thailand donating books, stationary and educational toys to a local medical center. You can also view photos of Reading Action Program projects on the LCI Flickr page.
