Reading Action Program in Finland
Posted by Lions Clubs International on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 · 2 Comments

The MD Council members of the Leo Multiple District 107 Finland recently organized a Reading Action Program activity that helped promote literacy among children with visual impairments. Lions and Leos recorded old stories and fairy tales, including four fairy tales and four children’s poems, and published the recordings online for visually impaired children to listen.
Lions participating in the Reading Action Program are helping children and adults around the world learn to read, grow and improve their everyday lives. Find Reading Action Program project ideas here.
