Lions Adopt a Lion

In addition to performing community volunteer work that helps people in need, members of the Sterling Lions Club are also paying attention to animals in need – in particular, lions. The Sterling Lions recently adopted an African Lion named Arthur, who resides at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, USA. The adoption lasts for one year, during which the money contributed by the Lions will help feed and care for Arthur.
Arthur was previously undernourished and underweight after the zoo where he lived was shut down by the USDA for animal abuse and safety violations. The Sterling Lions are helping Arthur the lion enjoy life in a more natural and positive environment.
How does your Lions club help other Lions (whether animal or human)?
