Lions Disaster Relief in Oklahoma, USA

Lions Clubs International disaster relief

Following the tragic tornado that hit Oklahoma, USA, on May 20, 2013 — killing 23 people and injuring more than 300 — Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is mobilizing more than US$200,000 to support Lions’ disaster relief efforts. LCIF Chairperson Wing-Kun Tam recently visited the devastated towns to help clean up and provide the service victims needed to help rebuild their lives and their communities.

Learn more about the Lions’ assistance to impacted areas from the LCI Newsroom, and see more photos of the cleanup efforts on our Flickr page. Or, make a donation to LCIF.
