Lions in Taiwan Provide Vision Screenings

Lions Clubs International

October’s Sharing the Vision Month is coming to an end. Lions everywhere participated by recycling eyeglasses for sight, celebrating World Sight Day earlier this month and holding vision screenings for children and adults.

Today’s featured photo is from Taiwan’s Central Plains Lions vision care network, who partnered with Chung Shan Medical University to provide vision screenings to local residents. The Lions also provided free optician services to low-income children. The proper eye health care helps community members detect potential problems and maintain healthy vision.

Although the Sharing the Vision Global Service Action Campaign is almost over, Lions everywhere continue to fight blindness every day. How does your club serve your community’s eye health and vision needs?
