Indonesian Lions Serve Flood Victims

Lions Clubs International

Thanks to an LCIF disaster relief grant, the Lions of District 307 A1 in Indonesia were able to provide medical assistance to 910 families (approximately 1,400 people) who were victims of local flood. Additionally, the Lions comforted the children of these families, many suffering from skin problems due to the flood waters, by drawing, coloring, singing and dancing with them.

When disaster strikes, Lions respond immediately and continue to help rebuild lives in the long term — whether a typhoon hits halfway across the world or a flood devastates a local community. You can help by donating to the LCIF Disaster Relief Fund.
