Preston’s Blog: Strengthen the Pride

I’m so excited and honored to be this year’s Lions Clubs International President!

We’re a family —  a Lions Pride — and I’m hoping you will join me this year in working to Strengthen the Pride. There are so many areas in which we can strive to do better so that we can serve our communities better. Each new member helps our organization grow. Each life we touch through service makes us stronger and more dedicated.

Through partnerships, technology, creativity and so much more, Lions clubs are getting stronger every day. Visit my President’s Theme page on the LCI website for the tools and resources you need to help make your club stronger.

I’m looking forward to a great year, and I can’t wait to meet Lions across the globe to see how they’re Strengthening the Pride!

Your International President,

Joe Preston

  1. Congratulation President Joe
My wife, Lion Zie and I travelled from Australia to attend the Toronto Lions International Convention and we were in the audience when the election results were announced. Currently we are travelling around Ontario with two of our Canadian friends Lion Vic and Lion Bev (originally they were members of our Twinning Club Charlton-Englehart). We are sightseeing and visiting some Lions Clubs on our way furthering our international fellowship before returning to Australia. We have taken up your challenge to “Ask 1”, before departing Toronto Convention already had a commitment from one of the junior security guards that he will be contacting the Lions Club of Scarborough regarding his interest in joining Leos. May your year be a truly successful one. You can count on our support.

Hoo Roo for now – Greetings from down-under.

    • Thank you for your support, Lion Harry! Ask 1 is a wonderful campaign and I know it will help Lions everywhere grow and succeed!
