    Hi,

I have been trying very very hard to get my blog listed in LCI for almost a year. Sent some emails here and there hoping for someone to connect to get our club’s blog here but all in vain.

Could some kind soul help? Our blog has been running for more than a year with all our club’s activities posted in it.

Many thanks. We are from Singapore, District 308-A1

Competing with other organizations (firemen, scouts, football team, etc.) to raise funds with the same cookie cutter type of fund raisers within our small 1 mile square town are making it difficult to attract new members, increase funds and get press coverage from local newspapers.

New ideas keep getting shot down by members because they feel they can’t sell enough tickets to cover the initial expense of the new ideas. HELP!

    • March 28, 2011

      Hi Kathy,

Thanks for your comment. I’ve forwarded it to our Membership Division, you should hear from them soon.

Kathy: You might see if you could combine with some of those other groups in fundraising, splitting the profits and then find out what service you could do to help them in their efforts. You might sponsor a scout group, work with the firemen to provide food baskets at Thanksgiving or Christmas, and help with the boosters for the football team. It seems as if you care and that is the first step. If you can do any of these you will probably enlist some new members.
