Carol Burke-Hallberg, a member of the Windy City Lions Club in Chicago, just returned from an an aid trip to Haiti. Carole was joined by LCIF Chairperson Al Brandel, and Lions Club volunteers from across the country, who linked up with Lions Club members in Haiti to distribute aid.
Last week, LCIF Chairperson Al Brandel traveled to the region to help Lions plan earthquake relief and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas. To date, Lions around the world and LCIF have mobilized US$667,188 to provide help for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
