正如LCIF幫助獅子會加強服務一樣,我們重要的合作夥伴和分支機構也幫助我們提高了施予的能力。我們與世界上一些最優秀的組織進行策略合作,努力實現我們的能力和資金的最大化。這意味著我們可以更好地支持我們的獅友,讓他們可以服務更多的人。

 

我們的合作夥伴 

我們與一些非營利組織、政府、非政府組織以及企業合作夥伴進行合作。他們為我們提供了各種資源和知識。

Anthem Foundation
Anthem基金會慷慨捐贈 250,000 美元給 LCIF,供發起 獅子會-Anthem基金會健康英雄活動,以協助改善美國的社區健康。這次合作中,Anthem基金會員工也出力支援獅子會主導的社區服務,在美國特定城市中透過「志工日」支援各種當地的人道方案。此外,這項合作也支援以所選一整年的撥款,來幫助獅子會及其社區推廣完整的衛生、健康和積極的生活方式。從正面的青少年發展,到讓身障者更加獨立,LCIF 會將當地撥款發給分會和區,來進行改善健康的活動。
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
為支援獅子會在四個非洲國家的麻疹試辦活動,蓋茨基金會已經撥給 LCIF 40萬美元的資金。LCIF 提供另外的 30萬美元,由獅友管理及實行方案。為支持這個試行活動,獅子會加入全球麻疹行動倡議。該倡議給4100萬兒童提供了疫苗。比爾 & 梅琳達蓋茨基金會也是Gavi等量基金的主要資助人。LCIF 成功地完成了2013年的承諾,即到2017年底為麻疹倡議活動募集3000萬美元。完成之後,3000萬美元由Gavi等量基金進行一美元對一美元的配合。
The Carter Center

Johnson & Johnson Vision
強生公司已撥款超過 400 萬美元資助“兒童視力”活動,自 2002 年起,在整個亞洲已為 2600 萬兒童篩檢視力。兒童視力活動涉及眼睛健康意識、教育、兒童眼睛和視力篩查以及轉診治療。當地獅友、強生公司員工以及當地醫療人員協力進行篩檢活動。
NoVo Foundation
2011年以來,NoVo基金會已向LCIF提供總計 850000 美元的資金,用於構建獅子探索的場地、拓展接觸範圍及影響力。作為社交和情感學習活動的主要倡導者,NoVo支持獅子探索活動的持續增長和擴展。NoVo資金已用於修改獅子探索課程,並在西弗吉尼亞州和德克薩斯州的大型學區推出該項目。從這些項目收集的數據已被用於提高全球獅子探索的有效性。
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

United States Drug Enforcement Administration

VSP Global® Eyes of Hope®

World Diabetes Foundation

Special Olympics International
國際特奧會-國際獅子會的開展視覺活動在 2001 年開始。自該活動開始以來,有超過 40萬運動員接受篩檢,超過 175000 位運動員獲得經驗光配製的眼鏡。迄今為止,LCIF已向特奧會提供超過2300萬美元,包括“打開視覺”,家庭健康論壇,保健講座和包容性體育活動。
World Health Organization

Our Affiliations

We team up with organizations and institutions that are experts in their respective fields. Together, we are able to work toward our shared goals more effectively.

 

Aruna Abhey Oswal Trust
Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is proudly partnering with the Aruna Abhey Oswal Trust. The partnership is called the Lions Clubs International Foundation/Aruna Abhey Oswal Trust Humanitarian Initiative Partnership and endeavors to support humanitarian service projects in areas such as sight, youth, disaster relief and measles. Along with funds from LCIF, the Aruna Abhey Oswal Trust is making donations toward the partnership to support projects around the world. These generous donations mean that LCIF can lend a helping hand to more people and communities in need.

Several of the current partnership projects include:

  • Expanding an elementary school in Cambodia
  • Upgrading an elementary school in Myanmar
  • Expanding a primary school in Togo
  • Constructing  a senior center at Chicago Lighthouse in the USA
Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL)
Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence has been listed on CASEL Guide for Effective Social and Emotional Learning Programs – Middle and High School Edition. This rating is awarded in recognition of Lions Quest's excellence in three areas recommended by CASEL as the most important starting points for program selection—Outstanding SEL Instruction, Evidence of Effectiveness and Outstanding Professional Development.
Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA)
In 2009, LCIF began a partnership with CADCA in an effort to increase collaboration between community coalitions and Lions clubs members to help create safer, healthier and drug-free communities. Together, LCIF and CADCA are committed to developing strategies to reduce drug use and its associated negative consequences.
The Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI)
ICEVI is a global association of individuals and organizations that promotes equal access to appropriate education for children and youth with visual impairment so that they may achieve their full potential. LCIF is a member of ICEVI.
Global Foodbanking Network (GFN)
GFN supports the largest nongovernmental network devoted to fighting hunger and is the only private sector network operating at the global level. GFN encourages collaborations in creating and supporting food banks and food bank networks. This provides opportunities for Lions to work with local GFN affiliates and resources.
InterAction
LCIF is a member of InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), with more than 190 members working in every developing country. Using its collective voice, InterAction seeks to shape important policy decisions on relief and long-term development issues, including foreign assistance, the environment, women, health, education and agriculture. Members are at the forefront in responding to humanitarian crises and disasters worldwide, and InterAction acts as a hub in these efforts.
International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)
IAPB works to eliminate the main causes of avoidable blindness and visual impairment by bringing together governments and nongovernmental agencies to facilitate the planning, development and implementation of sustainable national eye care programs. LCIF holds a seat on the IAPB Board of Trustees and is one of more than 148 member organizations of IAPB.
National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR)
NAEVR is an affiliated nonprofit organization of the Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (AEVR) and carries out advocacy activities of the coalition. NAEVR's goal is to achieve the best eye and vision care for all Americans through advocacy and public education for eye and vision research sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Eye Institute (NEI) and other federal research entities. LCIF is a member organization of NAEVR.
Onchocerciasis Elimination Program for the Americas (OEPA)
LCIF supports OEPA, a regional initiative that works to end illness and the transmission of river blindness in six endemic countries in the Americas: Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Venezuela. As a result of health education and Mectizan® distribution, there are no new cases of blindness attributable to river blindness. To date, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico have achieved elimination of river blindness.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Lions Quest’s middle and high school programs, Skills for Adolescence and Skills for Action, are listed on the National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices, a service of SAMHSA. Lions Quest is rated for Quality of Research and Readiness for Dissemination.
The World Blind Union (WBU)
WBU is an internationally-recognized umbrella organization, representing the interests of about 285 million blind and partially-sighted persons in 190 member countries. Speaking with a universal voice on a global level, WBU brings together major national and international organizations of blind persons and those providing services to them. LCIF is an International-level member of WBU. 
United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)
UNGC and Lions are collaborating to promote cooperation between local Lions clubs and Global Compact Local Networks to harness the power of business in responding to the challenges and opportunities of globalization. Three pilot projects are taking place in Sri Lanka, Brazil and Kenya, with the goal of addressing the UN Millennium Development Goals.
