We Serve
Distinguished leaders from around the globe have guided Lions Clubs International for over 100 years, each bringing unique vision and energy, yet united by one constant: service. Each president is committed to strengthening clubs, growing membership and expanding opportunities to serve so together we can reach farther, touch more lives and make a greater impact in communities near and far.
Our International President
International President Mark S. Lyon is a husband, father, musician, corporate executive, leader – and in many ways, just a regular Lion. President Lyon believes that service is the cornerstone of our organization and that every act of service, whether big or small, has the power to create a ripple effect of positive action. By remaining rooted in service and advocating for those we serve, we will make the world a better place.
Rooted in Service
Like a mighty oak, Lions are rooted in purpose and service. Our strength comes not from standing alone, but from the help, hope and care we provide others. For more than 100 years, Lions have supported communities in moments of need, changing lives through compassion and action. Service is the soil in which we grow — our roots run deep, our impact endures and our work is built to last for generations.
Nurturing growth together.
Our programs and initiatives are guided by four key priorities that shape how Lions serve and expand our impact around the world.
- Get back to our roots by focusing on meaningful service.
- Plant seeds of growth by inviting new members.
- Let leadership shine by advocating for others.
- Support LCIF and let it support you.
