This Year’s Awards Criteria
Making your mark means making a difference. When you take action to grow our membership, you are leading by example and demonstrating to your fellow Lions and Leos what it means to take initiative and make great things happen.
Remember, Lions are only eligible to receive one President’s Award or one President’s Leadership Award in a Lion year. If your achievements qualify you for more than one award, you may nominate another Lion who significantly contributed to your success.
Achieving District Net Gain
Qualifying Criteria
- Leadership Medal – achieve a net gain of 50 above your MISSION 1.5 district target with a minimum net gain of 50 new members
- Presidential Medal – achieve a net gain of 150 above your MISSION 1.5 district target with a minimum net gain of 100 new members

- Leadership Medal – recruit 50% women or 50% new members under 45 years old in your district*
- Presidential Medal – recruit 50% women and 50% new members under 45 in your district

Starting Leo-Lion Clubs
Leo district presidents and district chairpersons who charter new Leo-Lion clubs can earn a Leadership Medal or a Presidential Medal.
Qualifying Criteria
- Leadership Medal – for Leo district presidents who charter 2 new Leo-Lion clubs
- Presidential Medal – for Leo district chairpersons who charter 3 new Leo-Lion clubs

Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup
District leaders can add to our legacy, and build their own, by being forever memorialized on the Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup.
Qualifying Criteria
- The district team with the largest membership growth in each constitutional area will qualify to be memorialized on the Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup.
- Each member of the district team (district governor, immediate past district governor, first vice district governor, second vice district governor) will have their names engraved on the award and receive a replica cup.
