Lions ögonbanker
Ögonbanker tar emot, utvärderar, förvarar och distribuerar mänsklig ögonvävnad att användas för synåterställande operationer, forskning och utbildning. Ögonkirurger är beroende av ögonbanker, för att få vävnad till synräddande operationer. En Lions ögonbank sponsras av en lionklubb, ett distrikt eller multipeldistrikt samt har en etablerad relation med en medicinsk institution.
