- What is the Leo-Lion program?

The Leo-Lion membership program offers Leos an opportunity to continue their service journey as Lions members, but with additional benefits, such as half international dues/entrance fee waiver, an exclusive Leo-Lion membership pin, and scholarship opportunities. - Is Leo-Lion membership a transitional step between Leo and Lions membership?

The Leo-Lion program is a full Lions membership program with all the same rights and privileges of traditional Lions membership, including voting.
- Did the Leo-Lion program replace the Omega Leo program?

No. The Omega Leo club program has not changed. Learn more about the Leo program at lionsclubs.org/leos.
- Does the name "Leo-Lion" mean that the member is a Lion and a Leo at the same time?

No. The name Leo-Lion recognizes members who have previously served as Leos. However, some Leo-Lions choose Dual Memberships for a limited period of time. Learn more.
- Can Leo-Lions serve on committees, cabinets, councils and more?

Yes! Leo-Lions, like all Lion members, can choose to serve in leadership roles and on committees at every level of the organization. Additionally, the Leo-Lion Program offers the opportunity to be appointed by the international president to serve as a Leo-Lion board liaison for a period of one year. Learn more. Leo-Lion liaison positions are also available at the district and multiple district levels. The Leo-Lion cabinet and council liaisons are one-year non-voting appointed positions developed to incorporate young leaders and strengthen Lions districts and multiple districts. Eligibility
- Who is eligible for the Leo-Lion program?

A current or former Leo may apply for Lions membership as a Leo-Lion if they have served previously as a Leo for at least one year plus one day and is the age of legal majority in their country through age 35.
- Can a former Leo be a Leo-Lion if they left the organization for a period of time?

Yes, Former Leos are welcome to serve as Leo-Lion members, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements.
Club Administration & Chartering
- Is a Leo-Lion club a Lions club that includes Leo members?

No, all members of Leo-Lion clubs are Lion members, but some members are Former Leos. To charter a Leo-Lion club, at least 10 of the chartering Lions must be Former Leos.
- Does a Leo-Lion have to serve in a Leo-Lions Club?

Like all Lion members, Leo-Lions have the option to serve in any type of Lions club, including Leo-Lion clubs.
- Do all members in a Leo-Lion club get the same benefits as Leo-Lions?

Young Lions, who are ages 30 and younger and have not served previously as Leos, may enjoy the same Leo-Lion program discount benefit of half international dues and entrance fee waiver when they join Leo-Lion clubs. This "Young Adult" membership type is exclusive to Young Lions in Leo-Lion clubs and must be chosen using the membership dropdown field in MyLCI or in local reporting systems. - How can Leo-Lion members be added to a current or newly chartered club?

A Lions club president, secretary or administrator can initiate a Leo to Lion transfer to a Lions club using MyLCI. The "Leo-Lion" membership type must be chosen using MyLCI or local reporting systems. Learn how to transfer Leos to Lions clubs using MyLCI.
- How do you charter a Leo-Lion club?

A Leo-Lion club requires 10 Former Leos to be included in the minimum 20 members needed to charter a Lions club. Learn more at lionsclubs.org/leo-lions.
- Do I need to submit the Leo to Lion Certification Form (LL2) to Lions Clubs International?

No. While the LL2 form is a helpful worksheet to gather and retain information for club records, new Leo-Lion members should be added using MyLCI or local reporting systems.
- How can Leos get their service years credited to their Lion member record?

Leo years of service will be credited to Lions records automatically when using the Leo to Lion transfer process in MyLCI. If assistance is needed contact memberservicecenter@lionsclubs.org

Pin
- How do I get a Leo-Lion membership pin?

All new Leo-Lions will receive a free pin, compliments of Lions Clubs International. Leo-Lions may purchase additional/replacement pins from the Lions Shop.
- When should I expect to receive my Leo-Lion membership pin?

A pin is shipped out directly to each member the month after they are added into MyLCI as a "Leo-Lion" member. Delivery times vary, so allow reasonable time to receive your complimentary pin. Reach out to memberservicecenter@lionsclubs.org for any assistance you may need.
- Can anyone wear a Leo-Lion membership pin?

The Leo-Lion pin is a membership program benefit exclusively for current active Leo-Lion members. The membership pin is not to be worn by those who are not Leo-Lions or those who are no longer eligible for the Leo-Lion program. Additionally, the Leo-Lion membership pin should not be gifted to non-Leo-Lion members or used for trading.
- The Leo-Lion membership pin was not available when I was a Leo-Lion. Can I get one now?

The Leo-Lion membership pin and all other benefits of the Leo-Lion program are available only to those who currently eligible for the program.
